Lights, Camera, Wedding Bells!

Over the years, Harlaxton Manor has become a favorite place for filming. Movies such as The Last Days of Patton (1986) and The Haunting (1999) have brought their film crews to the Manor, using its exterior and interior beauty for their sets. A total of eleven movies, ranging from drama to horror, have used the Manor for their setting.

 

 

 

 

Harlaxton Manor also hosts a multitude of events throughout the year, including weddings and business retreats. Due to its fairy-tale like appearance, many people bring their special events into the Manor in hopes of bringing a magical feeling to their special days, sometimes while students are still wandering the Manor themselves!
