‘The Gypsy Dance’, Van der Elst’s composition from the 1930’s, was performed on the piano in the Great Hall for the first time in 2014. In the following days it was reported that doors locked by themselves and could not be unlocked with their keys, and minor unexplained accidents and illnesses began to occur among the inhabitants of the manor.
