Catherine Sherwin Gregory
John Sherwin Gregory died in 1869. His wife Catherine (b.1806) held the estate at Harlaxton until she died in 1892. Mrs Sherwin Gregory enjoyed supporting the local church and school.

I have a portrait of her mama Mary Ann Holden (1783-1840), cut and repainted from an original double portrait of Mary Anne and baby Catherine by William Owen RA around 1810.
